Nas - Cherry Wine (feat: Amy Winehouse)
Go cop Life is Good on July 17th
Nas is definitely on his job pulling out all the stops to promote his new album Life is Good due out July 17th. Even with all the promo he is working, he has yet to pull out anything cliche. No Lil Wayne feature. No 2 Chainz collaboration. No Chris Brown, no Trey Songz, nothing cliche at all with exception to a Rick Ross collab that was so hot you excuse it. Add that up with the fact he has been heavy in the studio with super producer No ID and I think Nas' new album will sound very organic and beautiful. I don't know about ya'll but I plan on copping the Deluxe Edition of Life is Good so I can get the bonus cuts. Shout out to the Hip Hop that still feels like Hip Hop. To keep the streets buzzing about his album, he released a new song entitled Cherry Wine featuring the beautiful jazzy vocals of the late Amy Winehouse. Winehouse died last year of alcohol poisoning but had worked with Nas on all her albums. The two had developed a relationship of musicianship and Nas says,  "It's a bittersweet feeling to do something with her now that she's not here." Though bittersweet, the song is so smooth it just makes you want to pour a glass of wine and zone out in the shade. A truly beautiful piece of Hip Hop art!

Tell us what you think of Cherry Wine.
